Piedmont Jr. High 1951 Periscope

Here's the Piedmont Junior High School yearbook of 1951. Coach Edelman was the yearbook advisor and probably did 90% of the work and knowing that the budget was probably next to nothing, it is very impressive looking, even after all those years!

This was US folks!

Enjoy the memory ride.

Newlyweds Celebrate New Year

Still acting like the newlyweds that they are (to me, anyone who's been married less than 40 years is a newlywed) Nancy Gibson Tomlinson and her husband Howard are shown here bringing in 2007.

Nancy says that Howard just recently celebrated his 79 birthday and she will celebrate her 70th in Las Vegas on 1/28/07.

Their motto is: "hang in there and enjoy every day to the best of their ability! Planning trips and having fun while we can!"

Sounds like a winner to me. Maybe that's why they both look so young.

(Thanks to our ace reporter, Shirley Maynor McClanahan for the pictures)
