Ernest Lee Shaver MYRTLE BEACH - Ernest Lee Shaver, age 77, of Coldwater Circle, died Friday, April 12, 2013, at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Mr. Shaver was born in Charlotte, NC, to the late Blanche and Lester Shaver. He was a U.S. Air National Guard veteran. He retired as owner of CBS Printers and was a former employee of Dowd Press. Mr. Shaver taught Sunday school, had served as a Deacon and was currently a member of Bible Baptist. Mr. Shaver taught the homeless and was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his brothers Billy Joe Shaver and Jerry Mac Shaver. Mr. Shaver is survived by his wife Hilda Shaver; son, Ernest Shaver, Jr. (Barbara) of Smyrna , SC; daughters, Pam Smith (Steve) of Charlotte, NC, Melia Tyndall (Andy) of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother Guy Shaver of Greensboro, NC; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2PM on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.''
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. An online
