I'm not so sure of that.
There is at least one word that if I ever hear directed at me again will.......send me over the edge...kicking and screaming all he way o the looney bin.
I haven't heard it uttered since leaving school thank goodness, so I've been able to gain lawful employment and lead a normal, peaceful life. It's a word that I'm sure is taught to the students on the first day of "teacher's school." In truth, I believe that after they learn that word, they are 98 percent ready to start teaching.
That one word contains all the elements of intimidation and fear that gets the attention of most students.
Actually, it's not the word itself that is so awful, but the words that almost always follow it which are
So unwelcome.
The best I can do to describe it is......"It's a threat! Dressed up like Ronald McDonald."
The word was (I use the past tense WAS...because I hope to never hear it again.)
