I’m trying to find anyone who might have known my mother when she was at Central High. Her name was Martha Anne Mungo. Could you possibly help? She was born in 1941 so I think she may have been in the class of 59.

Sorry that my postings to this site....have been rather erratic lately. there are a couple of reasons. It's COLD down here in the Bat Cave (My basement)...secondly, My eyesight has really gone downhill.....reading and typing with a magnify
ing glass slows me down considerably.
But otherwise, my health is pretty good....and all's well up here in Northern VA.
When I first came to work up here in Washington, my plans were to return to Charlotte and retire someday.....but ...with a wife, 3 children, and 5 grandchildren up here.....I'm here for the duration.
So much for my dream of someday returning to Charlotte and sitting around with my old WGIV BUDDIES...telling tales of what the "big time" was like! (Just like the "little time" down there….
except the people are nicer down there.)

Judy Cooley's Husband Dies

With great sadness we learn of the passing of Charles Cooley, husband of classmate Judy Walker Cooley. Chuck died of pneumonia on January 12, after just having turned 87 the day before.
