Not sure how many old CHSers come to this site....but am grateful for you few that do.
Everybody needs a forum...and this is mine....in my semi senile old age.
I'm 83 and a half now....I think, and there are still some words from the "old" days that cause chills to run up and down my spine.
A few are:
"Take out your pencils and paper"
That meant a pop quiz was about to happen.
"It behooves"...…...meant being asked to do something I didn't want to do.
After high school and college...….I never heard that word again.
Good riddance!!
