at least, not with those of us who knew her.
When we spoke of "Betsy"...there was never any confusion.... No one ever said, "Betsy who?
She didn't need a last name.
I had a few classes with her...and I can verify that you never wanted to be in a class with her in which the professor graded on the "curve."
However, she never flaunted her brilliance. Not in the least.
She wanted to hear about YOU...and your accomplishments...however small they might have been.
No doubt there are many of you who want to tell your own "Betsy Story"
